The Energy Deception: A Green Illusion Built on Accounting Fraud and Billion-Euro Bills
Today, the Danish energy sector is characterized by systemic irresponsibility, where billions are squandered on prestige projects that effectively counteract the green transition. Through flawed socio-economic accounting models like DK2020, we maintain the appearance of carbon neutrality simply by installing more wind turbines.
However, this is an accounting lie: while clean wind power is offloaded as gifts to foreign countries—or the turbines are brought to a standstill—our climate accounts are diluted by “dirty” fossil power from standby power plants in Sweden and Germany, combined with the massive amounts of biomass we import.
Now, the agricultural sector is being targeted with a Tripartite Agreement and CO2 taxes, lured by landmark subsidies that focus solely on making the industry less “harmful”. The overarching sickness in the system is the active choice to avoid making the energy system “smart” by utilizing the resources that agriculture actually provides. By directly linking agricultural biomass and land with dualistic energy systems capable of balancing the grid via Smart Grid technology, we could make the industry 100% CO2-neutral—cheaply, effectively, and without the need for billion-euro subsidies that are currently wasted on hydrogen pipe dreams and castles in the air.
